The hottest American Idol this week

Thanks to her songs "Stronger" and "Dark Side," Kelly Clarkson was the most-played American Idol contestant on the radio last week.  Some other "Idol" names you may recall were also on that list.

According to the USA Today Carrie Underwood's single Blown Away was #16 on the Country charts.  Last season's winner, Phillip Phillips, got a lot of airplay thanks in part to the Summer Olympics.  His song Home was #15 on the Hot AC chart.

Remember good looking, curly-haired Casey James from Season 9?  He has a country hit with Crying on a Suitcase (sounds like a country song, doesn't it?).

Casey Abrams from Season 10 of  Idol has 2 songs in the Top 50.  His songs Get Out and Simple Life are on the AC and Smooth AC charts.

And, who could forget dreadlocked, Jason Castro from Season 7.  He's now a married man and father and he has a song called Only a Mountain on the Christian AC charts.
