‘The Martian’ and ‘Sicario’ Open in Theaters This Weekend

A crime thriller and a sci-fi movie are the two new flicks on the big screen this weekend.

The Martian is directed by Ridley Scott and stars Matt Damon. Damon plays an astronaut who is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind on Mars. NASA tries to figure out a way to bring him home. The film also stars Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig and Jeff Daniels.

Opening wide this week is Sicario. A crime thriller starring Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, and Josh Brolin. Blunt plays an FBI agent enlisted by a government official to aid in a joint task force tracking down an anonymous drug lord at the Mexico-United States border.
