The Michael Jackson Verdict is In
The jury has reached a verdict in the Michael Jackson wrongful death case against AEG.
The jury ruled AEG Live did hire Dr. Conrad Murray. The jury then ruled Dr. Murray was NOT unfit or incompetent to treat Michael Jackson. The Jackson family have lost their bid to hold AEG accountable for the death of Michael Jackson.
Michael’s mother, Katherine, and Michael’s three children sued AEG, claiming the company negligently hired and supervised Dr. Conrad Murray and pushed Michael beyond the limits for his “This Is It” tour.
AEG, on the other hand, is claiming Michael hired Murray himself and what happened between the two was a secret to everyone.
Michael died June 25, 2009 of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles.
