The Presidents Bowl 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk is Friday, June 13th

If you're a runner, it's not too hard to run into race this time of the year. There seems to be a different one happening just about every week in the Sioux Empire.

This Friday, June 13th is no exception.

Time to get out those running shoes, don your favorite high schools colors and run or walk in the 2014 "Presidents Bowl 5K Run and 2-Mile Fun Walk."

It starts this Friday at 7 P.M. at Falls Park in Sioux Falls.

The race/run is presented by Avera and is all new for 2014. It's now a chip-timed event, with upgraded t-shirts. All the proceeds will benefit the Lincoln, Roosevelt and Washington High School booster clubs.

The school with the most supporters will be taking home the traveling trophy that night.
