The Sioux Empire Fair is ‘Cantastic’ on Thursday, August 7th

As much as I hate to say it, we're rapidly running out of summer. One of the sure signs that summer is winding down is the start of the Sioux Empire Fair.

The 2014 Sioux Empire Fair kicks off today, August 1st and runs through August 10th at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.

This year you can help fight hunger while at the Sioux Empire Fair, by participating in "Cantastic Thursday, on Thursday, August 7th.

Anyone attending the fair that day can receive $10.00 off an all day ride pass wristband with the donation of three non-perishable food items at the Midway ticket booth. The food collected that day will be given to the Feeding South Dakota Food Pantry.

Not only will you be getting a discounted rate for your family, you'll also be helping to feed hungry individuals throughout the community.
