This Weekend in the Sioux Empire

A ton of fun things to do again this weekend in the Sioux Empire. Everything from running, to saluting  superheros, to picking apples. Here's a look at just a few things going on:

Aids Walk on Saturday at Pasley Park at 33rd and Southeastern. Registration at 8:30am with a 2 mile walk and 5k run starting at 9am.

Walk to End Alzheimers on Saturday at 9am at Sertoma Park.

Bark in the Park on Saturday at Spencer Dog Park. Registration at 9am, with the 2k walk and 4k run starting at 10am.

Superhero Day at Yogi Bear Corn Maze on Saturday. A day to honor local superheros from the police and fire departments, along with emergency and armed forces personnel. 

Apple Festival on Saturday and Sunday at Country Apple Orchard, 3 miles south of Sioux Falls on Minnesota Avenue. 10-5pm Saturday and Noon-5pm on Sunday.

Clay County Fair now through Sunday in Spencer, Iowa. Casting Crowns on Saturday and Jeff Foxworthy on Sunday.
