The National Weather Service Office in Aberdeen South Dakota has confirmed three tornado touchdowns from severe storms that rolled though the region Tuesday night, September 19, 2017.

According to KWAT in Watertown, the strongest of the three was an EF-1 tornado with winds estimated at 100 miles an hour near Tulare, on the ground for approximately three miles, damaging trees, an irrigation unit and several farm buildings.

The two other tornadoes were weaker, rated EF-0 west of Clark and half mile east of Bradley. Those tornadoes touched down in open fields, were on the ground briefly, and did not result in any damage.
