Tim Kaeding Wins World Of Outlaws At Huset’s [VIDEO]
Wednesday night a record crowd turned out at Huset’s Speedway of Brandon, SD. It was the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series event with NASCAR’s Tony Stewart in competition.
Stewart was out front leading the main event. But with only five laps to go, he had to slow for a lap car and spun out in turn number four and brought out a caution flag that would cost him his lead.
Tim Kaeding of San Jose, CA would inherit the lead for the restart of the final laps. The voice on these videos is that of World of Outlaws announcer Johnny Gibson.
Kaeding victorious with Daryn Pittman of Owasso, OK in second, Paul McMahan from Nashville, TN third, Cody Darrah of Red Lion, PA fourth and Rico Abreu from St. Helena, CA finished in fifth.
Abreu in the #24A car set the quick time earlier in the event 1/10 of a second off the one lap track record at 10.480. The 35 lap feature race paid $10,000 to win.
The street stock cars were on hand also and put on a fine show. Craig Hanisch of Sioux Falls, SD in car #45 charged from 10th starting position to the win.
