Memorial Day is upon us and a lot of Americans will be celebrating the holiday by grilling, taking a trip, and maybe kicking a few back. But 2 cowboys from Fort Pierre are doing some a bit different, they are heading to Washington D.C.

Tony Jones and Orville White are calling their adventure, “The Quest for Constitution in honor of Vets: A 1,500 mile journey from Fort Pierre, South Dakota, to Washington DC.” The purpose of this two-man journey on horseback is to raise awareness for all the vets who served this country.

The two men are in the process of picking out the horses. They figure that they would be about to travel 15 to 20 miles a day and make it to their destination within 100 days. They are planning on heading out on June 5, 2016.
