Two Found Dead In Sioux Falls Home

Sioux Falls Police reported on Wednesday afternoon that shots were fired at 607 W. 7th Street and two people were found dead inside the home.  

The investigation is ongoing, however the initial designation is of a murder/suicide.  In a statement from Sioux Falls Police, Lt. Matt Burns says that officers went to the residence just before 2:00 pm.

A man and woman who were in a relationship were found dead with gun shot wounds.  A relative that was inside the home at the time of the incident called 911.  Police believe there is no reason for the public to be alarmed with no inherent risk to the community and no search for a suspect.

The names of the deceased are not known at this time, but should be released within the next 24 hours.
