Have you been following Olympic Curling? Do you understand the rules? Me neither. So I looked it up.

According to Wikipedia curling is a sport in which two teams of four players each slide 40-pound granite stones down a sheet of ice toward a target at the other end. Each team tries to get more of its stones closer to the center of the target than the other team.

I must admit the longer the winter gets here in South Dakota, the more interesting curling appears. I recently came across this video of these two ladies practicing their version of household curling using a Roomba vacuum and a Swiffer. Now I really want to try it.

If you are interested in more fun info on the sport of curling there is a website called Curling For Dummies.

They teach you great curling terms that you need to know like Cashspiel, Gripper, Bonspiel, and Burning a Rock. It appears that you never want to 'Burn a Rock.
