Two Minnesota residents are charged after Sioux Falls police say they forced a 33-year-old Minneapolis woman to prostitute herself.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens says a worker at a hotel in the southwest part of the city reported suspicious activity earlier this week.

Officers in the Street Crimes Unit located an online ad and began monitoring a hotel room, where they arrested several men as they left:

Clemens says police arrested 31-year-old David Eugene Nance of Minneapolis and 26-year-old Ashley Christine Clayton of St. Peter, Minnesota. Both are charged with human trafficking and pimping.

The three men who were arrested for hiring for sexual activity were from Sioux Falls, Little Rock, Iowa and Sheldon, Iowa.
