Upscale Overstock Store is Expanding

Like most people I'm always in the market for saving money, and especially trying to find pet items for a discount price.

Pet items is just one of the many options at a Lennox store that is currently moving into a larger location. This small South Daktoa town is home to the mighty orange Orioles, and Upscale Overstock, a store whose start and growth appears to be unfolding like the American Dream.

According to Sioux Falls Business with Jodi Schwan:

Nathan and Elizabeth Hopf are small-business owners making a big bet on their hometown.

They have lived in Lennox for 12 years and became entrepreneurs there in September.

“We decided we wanted to open up a store,” Elizabeth Hopf said.

They had been selling used items bought from storage units but decided to try a different market.

Their business, Upscale Overstock, carries new merchandise from large national retailers bought at discount prices.

“We are up to 50 percent off retail value,” Hopf said. “A lot of people in Lennox seem to like that we are here.”

In addition to pet items, Upscale Overstock also offers bedding, furniture, appliances, and clothing.

This small town store has some big savings, and big plans for the future.

After they reopen in their new location I have a trip to Lennox on my to do list.

It seems as soon as my tax refund hits my bank account something in the house goes out, and I appreciate a good deal wherever I can find one.
