If you've been suffering from cabin fever lately, the cure awaits you this weekend.

LifeScape’s 23rd annual Mall Walk is this Saturday (February 4). It's your chance to get out of the house, head to the Empire Mall, and get a little exercise, while walking 'n rolling to help raise money to purchase items for the kids and adults LifeScape supports.

The Mall Walk is more than just a walk, it's also an opportunity for you to stop by and take part in fun activities, like, facepainting, and balloon animals, plus they'll be live music and much more!

Each walker is encouraged to do at least three laps around the inside of the mall. Word has it one lap works out to be about one mile, so, you can get a nice little cardio workout that day.

KDLT TV is reporting that last year's Mall Walk raised over $86,000 thanks to free will donations made both online and the day of the event.

The money raised from the Mall Walk goes to help buy items on the Wish Lists of those adults and children the organization supports. In the past, they've used the money to purchase everything from eye glasses to a new trampoline for their rehab center.

The festivities begin at 8:00 Saturday morning, with aerobics warm-up at 9:15. The walking 'n rolling starts at 9:30.

Don't forget that you can sign up to walk as an individual or as a team, and you can also make a contribution to someone else's fundraising effort.
