This has to be "the catch of the year" for major league baseball. A fan catches a foul ball while holding a baby.

It happened at a Cubs and Dodgers game on Tuesday night. In the second inning, Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez ran to catch a foul ball down the first baseline.

But to his surprise, the ball was caught one handed by a fan. And to everyone's surprise, he was holding a baby with the other hand.

The fan was Keith Hartley holding his seven month old son, Isaac. Dad was not putting his child at risk, but on the contrary, catching the ball in fear it could have hit the railing and bounced into his child.

The umpires ruled it an out for the Cubs for fan interference.
