A Watertown man wound up going to jail on Wednesday after he allegedly pulled a knife on the Sioux Falls police officers who were checking his well-being.

Officer Sam Clemens says police were asked to check the well-being of the man who had not shown up for work and was located around 11:00 AM at the Ruby Tuesday restaurant on South Shirley Avenue:

Clemens says the man kept threatening the officers, saying he had a bomb, but he was pepper-sprayed and later handcuffed.

Clemens says 38-year-old Francis Keith Jackson, Junior, of Watertown was charged with aggravated assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest, obstructing law enforcement and false impersonation.
