White Chocolate Raspberry, S'more Please, Heavenly Holstein, Salted Caramel Pecan - just a few of the ice cream flavors waiting for you to dig into at the new Stensland Family Farms Ice Cream Shop on 41st Street in Sioux Falls.

Stensland Family Farms has been around since 1915 in Larchwood, Iowa and opened an ice cream shop on 41st Street near Fuddrucker's and the Olive Garden on Friday, October 21, 2016. The store features farm fresh milk, ground beef, cheese curds and unbelievably delicious, creamy ice cream.

Leah Moller and her brothers, Jason, Justin and Kyle Stensland own the business. Leah recalls experimenting with the ice cream making, testing a lot of batches and eating a lot of samples. Where do I sign up?  Sounds like my dream job.

The store carries whole, 2% and skim milk along with chocolate milk - and are you ready for this - pumpkin spice milk! If you're a pumpkin spice junkie, you have to try it.

They currently make 22 different flavors of ice cream and two non-dairy sorbets. The Heavenly Holstein ice cream is cookies and cream (that's a pretty clever name for that one), Mama's Mounds tastes just like a Mounds candy, but using homemade ingredients, Pistachio, Strawberry using real strawberries and even cotton candy.  Leah said they will switch out flavors every month so there will always be something different to try.

Try your favorite flavor in a dish or homemade waffle cone. They also have homemade sandwich cookies.

The store also carries local coffee from The Breaks Coffee Roasting Company.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
