Wearing Concert T-Shirts To A Show?
This is the shirt that started the whole debate.
As you may or may not know I am going to a Justin Timberlake concert in February. I found this shirt and thought it would be cute to wear, but I have a strict rule that I don't wear band/artist shirts to their shows because I think it is corny.
I figure you are at the concert so everybody knows you are fan. No need to go overboard.
This started a whole debate on the show as to whether or not it is ok to wear concert t's at concerts.
The biggest comparison was wearing a jersey to a sporting event, that is not a big deal. My argument to that is at a sporting event there are usually at least two teams competing so you have to show your allegiance. If you are going to a concert for a specific artist or bad then we already know you are a fan.
I'd say most of the listener feedback was 50/50.
If I were to come to a conclusion based on my very non-scientific research I would say overall girls make concerts an event and choose to dress up whereas guys just put on whatever is clean, including concert t-shirts.
What do you think? Is it OK for me to wear this JT shirt to his concert? (It isn't technically a concert t-shirt.)
