Big news for tonights Vikings / Packers playoff game.  Backup auarterback Joe Webb is a go for tonight.  Before they announced Webb as a go, this is what Sportingnews.com was reporting:

The Minnesota Vikings are still figuring out who their starting quarterback will be for Saturday night’s wild-card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. A radio station, 1500 ESPN Twin Cities, reports Christian Ponder, who has battled a right elbow injury that limited him in practice all week, will try to give it go in Lambeau Field, but the team has backup Joe Webb ready just in case.
Joe Webb could start for the Vikings against the Packers. Ponder is coping with bursitis in the elbow and might need fluid to be drained from his elbow to play. According to 1500 ESPN, the bigger concern with the Vikings’ top QB could be how he’ll respond to the Packers’ 3-4 pressure defense after taking fewer repetitions.

This could make things REAL interesting.
