Fall comes with football, candy, a chill and leaves. Leaves everywhere. If you are wondering what to do with that pile of  leaves you got the kids to rake up, the City of Sioux Falls has a place for them. Take your small pile and add it to the big piles at one of two leaf drop-off sites.

For Eastsiders there is one on East Chambers Street. That is west of Cliff Avenue by the Household Hazardous Waste Facility and Street Department.

On the West Side there is a drop-off on West Lyon Boulevard west of the fairgrounds.

The sites are open through November 25th. Hours are 9am to 5pm Monday through Saturday and Noon to 5PM Sundays. There is a $2 charge per load for car, pickup, full-size SUV, van, or two-wheel trailers.
