‘What Do You Poupon?’ No Wonder This Grey Poupon Mustard Ad Failed

Remember the old ads for Grey Poupon Musard? The person would act as though they were ultra-rich and ask 'pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?' I admit it, we tried it simply because the commercials caught our attention and there are times you don't want to resort to just the plain yellow mustard.

But somehow I have a feeling that the copywriter of the banned Grey Poupon commercial might be writing sale ads at Walmart now since the tag line went from the classy, to something that made the 10-year old in me laugh and laugh:

'What Do You Poupon?'

Yeah. Read it quickly. That's exactly what they were going for. Watch it below and if grandma saying "I poupon my finger' doesn't make you laugh, I don't know if we can be friends haha
