What is South Dakota’s Favorite Halloween Candy?

You may be one of the many, many, many people who hate candy corn!  But despite that fact candy corn is still one of the most popular Halloween candies in the world. In fact in a recent survey from Influenster, candy corn was voted the top Halloween candy in five states: Oregon, Wyoming, Texas, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

This survey polled 40,000 people from all 50 states, included 30 different candies and only one cookie: the Oreo. The reason Oreos made it on the list is because the orange creme-filled Halloween edition is a traditional Halloween snack.

The results of this national survey even surprised the CEO of the company doing the polling. Not so astonishing, was the fact that even though candy corn was the top vote-getter in 5 states, the overall national winner was Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Which candy is tops in South Dakota? Karla Brown just happened to have a lot of it in her pumpkin candy holder in her office...
