Originally formed in 1973, the rock band Journey was one of the most successful bands of all time, especially between 1978 and 1987. In 2009 it's hit song "Don't Stop Believin" become "the top-selling track in iTunes history among songs not released in the 21st century."

In 1977, Steve Perry replaced lead singer Robert Fleischman, ushering in the bands era of stardom.

Sadly, in 1997 Perry injured himself while hiking in Hawaii. Unable to tour in support of their latest album, Trial by Fire, Perry was replaced as lead singer by Steve Augeri, who was later replaced by Jeff Scott Soto, who was later replaced by Arnel Pineda.

But, whatever happened to Steve Perry?
