What’s Cuter Than A Kid Playing A Computer Game? That Would Be A Kid Playing Lacrosse.
Has it been a long winter? Is it time to get your kids off the computer games and out of doors and getting some exercise? How about a brand new Sioux Falls activity?
Sioux Falls Kids Lacrosse is kicking off it's first year in the area. According to organizer Corey Mitchell:
"We are looking for 200 kids who want to play a sport they've never seen before. It's a great cross training sport for any other primary sport, hockey, soccer, football or basketball. It combines a lot of elements of those sports."
Sioux Falls Lacrosse is doing a week long summer day camp through community education that will run Monday June 16 - Friday June 20. Every player will receive a stick, ball, and t-shirt as a participant in the camp.
The camp will feature daily practices, athletic performance training, cardio training, and games. The camp will culminate with a tournament on Friday! This camp is designed to introduce the sport to more kids in a fun and non-intimidating environment.
