When Are You The Most Unproductive Each Day?
If you feel like a lazy, good for nothing, “slug” around 2:55 each afternoon, there’s a very good reason.
A new survey has revealed that is the average time of the day when people feel the least productive at work.
It makes sense when you think about it; 2:55 in the afternoon is generally the halfway point between lunch and quitting time for the majority of people in the workforce.
Conversely, you should resemble a little working “whirling dervish” around 10:26 in the morning. By that time you should be fully awake, done checking all your emails, had your fill of the social media sites and ready to tackle the task at hand for the day.
The second most productive time of the day is 4:16 P.M. That’s when most people are running around like crazed madmen trying to get all their stuff done so they can bolt by 5PM.
If you happen to be one of those workaholic types, that probably won’t end up calling it a day until around 8:30 at night. Well, just take all this data and toss it out the window, because it really doesn’t apply to you!
