Now that Christmas is t-minus 26 days and counting, is it beginning to look a lot like the holidays at your house? Minus the snow of course. Do you have your tree up yet, with tons of gifts underneath? How about your house, is it decorated in a way with thousands of blinking and twinkling lights that would make even Clark Griswold jealous?

Or does your place still resemble mine, a little Uncle Sam statue on the porch wishing everyone a Happy 4th of July?

I know it might not look like it, or feel like it quite yet, but the most wonderful time of the year is right around the corner again!

And as crazy as this may sound, I actually spoke with a co-worker today that said she has already opened up her very first Christmas gift! I said, seriously, you start before November 29th? Oh yeah, she said, it has always been a tradition in her family to open a series of gifts long before Christmas arrives.

That begs the question, what about your family? When do you start to open gifts? Are you Christmas Eve people, Christmas morning, Christmas night or do you start sometime in mid August like my crazy co-worker?

Me, I've always been a Christmas present shaker since I was a little kid. I usually have all my gifts figured out within 10 minutes of them being placed under the tree. Who needs to open them!

Tis’ the Christmas present shaking season! Merry Christmas!
