Where’s the Toilet Paper

The toilet paper police are not kidding around in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania.  Students must now ask for TP every time they use the bathroom!  The boys bathroom has been attacked.

The boys bathroom will no longer be supplied with toilet paper.  Good grief, has it come to this?

And the 4-0-1 on the TP has now gone criminal.

According to the a story from ABC Radio News:

The website Republican Herald.com reports Principal Thomas Smith explained the reason for the rationing at a recent school board meeting, saying, "We've had serious destruction to our bathrooms for the past two years."

Principal Smith told those in attendance, "We have a case pending with the police where a bathroom down by our gymnasium was absolutely destroyed.  I'm sure our district facilities director could tell you the times that our toilets have been jammed with toilet paper and other papers.  And after we took the toilet tissue out of there, people were throwing books.  It was our way to try to curb the destruction in the bathrooms."

There is some wiggle room...

Smith noted that he could be swayed to wipe the slate clean and put the toilet paper back in the bathroom, but he warned, "If the bathroom is destroyed, it will be removed."

Did your mom ever send your lunch with you to school?  I can hear them now shouting at their sons walking down the street to the bus stop, "hey come back, you forgot your roll of toilet paper."  Or, their friends taking inventory of their backpacks.  "Darn, forgot it again.  Can I borrow a few sheets?"
