Adele has already broken many chart records, but now she is a world-record holder.  Adele is one of many Mix artists who will be in the new 2013 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.According to Musicweek.com, Adele is listed as having set seven world records:  the first female artist, the first U.K. artist and fastest artist to reach a million U.S. digital sales; the biggest-selling digital song in both the U.S. and U.K. with "Rolling in the Deep"; and the biggest-selling digital album in the U.K. and U.S., with 21.

Also making the new edition of the book is Madonna, who set the record for the biggest TV audience when she performed during half time at the Super Bowl in February.

Lady Gaga set the record for the fastest-selling digital album in the U.S. with Born This Way.

The late Whitney Houston is also included.  She set a record for the most simultaneous hits on the U.K. singles chart by a solo female, with 12, following her death this past February.

British boy band One Direction has also made the book, for being the first British act to have their debut album Up All Night, enter the chart at #1 in the U.S.
