Who is ‘Next to Me’ Singer Emeli Sandé?

You've probably heard the the stunning new song Next to Me. It is by a Emeli Sandé. She is a Scottish singer-songwriter born Adele Emeli Sandé in 1987. She first broke on the scene as a featured performer on other people's songs. She has also written for a number of other artists like Cher Lloyd, Rihanna and Leona Lewis.

She performed in the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the London Olympics and released her debut album Our Version of Events in February 2012.
