Fans are still demanding justice for Mandy Moore, whose shocking snub for an Emmy at the 70th annual ceremony left This Is Us followers befuddled, outraged and near ready to smash in their televisions.

As the 2018 Emmy nominations rolled in Thursday (July 12), audiences were shocked that the 34-year-old actress, who portrays Rebecca Pearson on the hit NBC series, had been neglected for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Primetime Emmy nom for which many watchers believed she was a shoe-in.

Her castmates, Milo Ventimiglia and Sterling K. Brown, on the other hand, were respectively nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category, while Gerald McRaney and Ron Cephas Jones both collected nods for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.

Repulsed by the slight, followers collectively flipped their lid on social media, arguing that Moore's depiction on the show was nothing if not Emmy-worthy.

"Mandy Moore plays a new wife, a grieving wife, a young mom of triplets, a recently widowed mom of teenagers and a resigned and plaintive mom of complex adults, all while being simultaneously more than "just" a wife and mother," tweeted on user, adding, "If that's not Emmy-worthy, I don't know what is."

The most visible sign of Moore's undeniable presence on the show — which was all EVERYONE could talk about during Season 2 — was when an overburdened Pearson comes to learn her husband Jack (Ventimiglia) has died. Like, how does one's heart NOT break during that scene?

Given the number of emotions Moore channels in that scene, it's anyone's guess how the Academy decided not to throw her a bid — and the Internet is giving them an earful about it.

Miraculously, she's taken the news in stride, like the class act she is.

"Couldn’t be prouder of our #ThisIsUs family and our 8 #emmy nominations today," following the nomination announcement. "So much to celebrate!"

What say you, This Is Us fans: what did you think of Mandy Moore's Emmy snub?
