Snow, sleet, and ice are forecast to be coming our way.  According to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls the tri-state area is in for a significant taste of winter.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 10am on Wednesday until 1am on Thursday.

Rain is going to gradually change to snow late on Wednesday morning with heavy snow expected this afternoon and evening.

Total snow accumulations could be anywhere for 4 to 8 inches with even higher amounts possible.

Wind is has the potential to cause visibility problems too.  Strong north to northeast winds will be from 20 to 30 MPH with gusts as high as 45 MPH.
