The world's tallest waterslide is coming to Kansas City, and it's not for the faint of heart. The Verrückt, which means insane in German, is currently under construction at Schlitterbahn park in Kansas City, will drop you nearly 17 stories high with riders hitting speeds of at least 65 mph.

The world's current tallest slide, Brazil's Insano, drops thrill seekers from 134.5 feet.

One of the cool features of the future Verrückt is the second hill at the bottom. Now, I don't have an engineering degree, but wouldn't a rider at those speeds pulling a "Evil Knievel" into the middle of a Kansas prairie?

Apparently not. Company officials say it will take 264 steps to get to the top of Verrückt. Then riders will travel down on four-person rafts.

The 4-person raft idea should calm those who were worried about a 17 story wedgie.
