Most of of the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' clips and trailers have so far focused on the film's large ensemble of new and returning mutant superheroes, while the main villain, Peter Dinklage's Bolivar Trask, remains out of the spotlight. Though our latest look doesn't exactly give us a clear indication of what kind of character he is, it does give us a chance to see him come fact to face with Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique in a pretty cool action scene.

In the comics and in the film, Trask is mainly known as the inventor of the Sentinels, massive robots that are designed to hunt down and destroy mutants before they ultimately turn on everyone else. But that's not all. In the above 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' clip, he's taking a meeting with a room full of high-ranking military officials from around the world to show off his new technology, only to learn too late that someone in the room doesn't quite belong. A whole bunch of ass-kicking ensues as Mystique is forced to reveal herself, concluding with a standoff between Trask and the shape-shifting mutant.

As cool as it is to see Trask and Mystique meet, it's made even cooler by the fact that they're played by Tyrion Lannister and Katniss Everdeen. We still don't know the full extent of Dinklage's character and his involvement in the film (while it looks like J-Law is going to be kicking many butts and taking many names), but we hope the role actually makes use of his talents. After all, you don't cast an actor that good as the man responsible for mass mutant genocide and not give him something to chew on.

And while we're here, the MPAA officially gave 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' a PG-13 rating, citing "sequences of intense sci-fi violence and action, some suggestive material, nudity and language." Nudity, eh? Well, the clip above does star a naked blue woman.

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' opens on May 23, 2014.
