Kilian Community College has come up with a unique way to raise funds to support their students and programs. Like all non-profit organizations these days, you need to get creative to keep things humming.

And speaking of humming, if you've ever hummed or sung along to Neil Diamond's classic "Sweet Caroline" at someone's wedding dance you are definitely not alone. My sister Carmela was a huge Neil Diamond fan in her youth and his Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show had us all singing "Porcupine Pie" until our Mom wanted to squash us like bugs! Plus my younger sister Carolyn was often referred to as "Sweet Caroline".

Neil Diamond is one of the most successful singer-songwriters of all time. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984 and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. He is a Grammy winner, a Golden Globe winner and a Kennedy Center Honoree.

Kilian is presenting a raffle that will give someone the chance to win front row seats to see this American musical icon at the Xcel Center in Minneapolis, on April 12, 2015 at 8 pm. Raffle tickets are only $100 and the prize package also includes your Xcel Center parking pass, a one night hotel stay and a $100 gas card to get you there and back!

Kilian is the only community college in Sioux Falls and their mission is student success; in the classroom, at home, at work, in the community and in life. They offer first and second chances for all students of all ages and offer scholarships and financial aid to help get them to their goal.

But providing all the programs and support offered can be costly. This is where you come in. You have a chance to win a fantastic concert getaway while pitching in to help Kilian spread around success. It is another win-win situation. Although, I guess for someone, it will actually be win-win-win!
