Sioux Falls police are continuing their search for the people responsible for the death of a 37-year-old man found shot early Saturday morning in downtown.

KSFY TV reports the shooting took place around 1:00 AM on Saturday (October 26) near West 10th Street and South Main Avenue. According to the report, when authorities arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot and was still alive.

The victim was immediately transported to a Sioux Falls hospital, where he eventually died from his injuries.

KSFY reports that police have released no further information regarding the early morning homicide at this time, other than they have identified two vehicles of interest related to the incident.

Police are still in the process of following up on leads as the investigation continues. More information will be released as it becomes available.
