Well maybe if Sioux Falls welcomes Dunkin' Donuts to town, getting married in the store could be a fabulous idea for the ultimate Dunkin' lover.

Apparently, a Dunkin' Donuts in Massachusettes recently hosted a wedding for a happy couple.  Why have a wedding in a coffee shop you ask?  USA Today reports that the couple had coffee at this location in 1992 which eventually led to separation and heartbreak.  Consequently, the couple truly wanted to change the narrative and create happier memories at this particular store.  "More than 27 years later, their story had a happy ending, when Valerie Sneade and Jason Roy were married at the very same Dunkin’."  The couple insisted on exchanging their vows over the smell of brewing coffee.  They even hoped to make this a trend for other couples.

Everyone knows I love Dunkin' Donuts, as well as the fact that I have been aggressively lobbying to open a location in the Sioux Empire!  However, the wedding scenario is going a bit too far for me.  Although I happily anticipate the day Dunkin' arrives in Sioux Falls, I don't think getting married at the store should be included in anyone's coffee order.

That being said, at least the Mayor of Sioux Falls, Paul TenHaken is giving me hope that one day a Dunkin' Donuts will open in our fine city!
