Sioux Falls Police started the afternoon by responding to a call of an abandoned meth lab and ended the evening making several arrests in connection with the investigation.

Police were called to a building at 12th & Van Eps Thursday afternoon at 3:30.  Employees at a nearby business located items consistent with “One Pot” method of manufacturing methamphetamine dumped on the side of the road off of Van Eps Ave. The clandestine lab team responded and dismantled the lab.  The investigation lead to a search warrant at a nearby residence of 1315 E. 12th St.  Several arrests were made as a result of the warrant.  Arrested are Tyler Hausten for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Abigail Shelton, who was wanted as a walkaway from the Minnehaha County Jail, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Jonathon Julson was arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Amber Counterman was arrestedfor possession of a controlled substance.
