Apple Picking, Apple Eating and Making Memories

Since the kids were wee little, several weekend visits to the apple orchard have been made. I'm afraid those visits were more for me and my love of the apple, apple pie and apple turnover.

This weekend we strike up the orchard visits for the fall with the Apple Festival at the Country Apple Orchard 3 miles South of Sioux Falls on Minnesota Avenue.

Bring the whole family for horse drawn hayrides, pony rides, kiddie train rides, inflatables, face painting and all those apple goodies.

So you and the kids and your mother, grandmother and girlfriends and sisters can pick your own apples off the trees! I promise to save you some apples and memories.

This weekend is a great time to make your own family memories.  The Apple Festival will be Saturday and Sunday Sept. 15th and 16th from 10am-5pm.
