Sierra Nevada brewery in Mills River, North Carolina is recalling a variety of beers in 12 oz. bottles.

The bottles have a possible flaw that could allow glass to break off the top of the bottle and fall inside.

"While we believe this concern impacts roughly one in every 10,000 (0.01%) of our bottles packaged during this time, Sierra Nevada has set the standard for quality in the craft brewing industry since 1980 and we have decided to take this precaution to ensure the safety of our consumers,"

The recall involves Pale Ale, Torpedo Extra IPA, Sidecar Orange Pale Ale, Hop Hunter and other beers sold in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and many other states.  Find a complete list and details at Sierranevada.com.
