If you're a fan of the Teriyaki Chick'n Bowl, the Fiesta Mexi Salad, the Buffalo Chickpea Wrap, and all the other delicious menu items on the Brosia Bowl's menu you better make your way to downtown Sioux Falls by Friday.

Word broke on Tuesday, (March 19) that Brosia's intends to close its downtown restaurant on Friday, (March 22).

Dakota News Now reports the unique plant-based restaurant will be closing up shop at the end of the day on Friday after being open for two years in the Jones421 building in downtown.

Not to worry however, if you happen to be a big fan of Brosia Bowl's, you'll still be able to enjoy their plant-based cuisine, just on wheels for the time being as their food truck continues to make its rounds throughout the Sioux Empire, along with a frequent presence at the Falls Park Farmer's Market this summer.

Owner Darcy Green told Dakota News Now, "We’ve decided to pivot and focus heavily on the food truck this summer and I’ve been fortunate enough to be accepted into the Ten-Thousand Small Business Program. It’s sponsored by Goldman Sachs and they chose 30 of us small businesses in South Dakota. That started at the end of February and it goes until May. I’m hoping that will teach me a lot of yes’s and no’s as far as business goes and then, we’re hoping to open another location when the time and place is right."

Brosia's has become a very popular food stop for vegans, vegetarians, and those with food allergies in the Sioux Falls area.

Brosia's plans on holding a special customer appreciation day on Saturday, (March 23) from noon till 4:00 PM. But again they want to emphasize this is not a going away party. Green told Dakota News Now, she plans to open up a new location in Sioux Falls when the time is right.

Green wants to do a little game planning first and map out the right strategy before opening her next sit-down brick-and-mortar location.

Until then, you can keep track of Brosia Bowl's food truck and all the other food trucks cruising the streets of Sioux Falls here.
