Best known from this past season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”, Preacher Lawson was a Top 5 Finalist in the show’s highest-rated season to date. Preacher describes himself as a "stand-up comedian, actor, singer, human, and professional black guy". He wrote his first joke at 16, performed for the first time at 17 and just never quit.

Born in Portland, Oregon, Preacher moved 20 times before the age of 10, and spent most of his childhood in Memphis, TN. He says, however, that he considers himself a native of Orlando, Florida, because he grew the most as a comedian while living there.

In 2015, Preacher won the title of Funniest Comedian in Florida and was crowned the winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2016. Preacher made his TV debut in 2017 on NBC’s “Last Call with Carson Daly” and also appeared on Comedy Dynamic’s “Coming To The Stage.” He is based in Los Angeles and currently headlines at major comedy clubs, colleges, and theaters throughout the country.

You can see Preacher Lawson live at the District in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, May 1st. Doors open at 8pm with the show starting at 9pm. Tickets are $27.50 to 39.50 and available on line at Pepperentertainment.com.

Or. . . you could win them from the Ben & Patty Show, in the morning from 6 to 10 AM!
