Customers of the pharmacy at the Yankton Walmart are being warned of possible COVID-19 exposure risk.

South Dakota State health officials say an employee at the pharmacy has tested positive for the disease.

Dakota News Now reports the employee reported working on March 15 and March 30 and was able to transmit the virus on those days.

Walmart reports the employee worked between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on March 15 and between 12 a.m. and 2 p.m. on March 20.

Health officials say anyone who visited the pharmacy during those times should monitor themselves for symptoms through April 13.

A CDC screening tool is available on the state's COVID-19 website, which can help recommend when to call your medical provider if you develop symptoms.

Health officials say if you develop symptoms, you should call your health care provider immediately and avoid contact with other people.
