Cyndi Lauper Tony’s Night [VIDEO]

Cyndi Lauper tried to hold back tears as she picked up here 1st Tony Award Sunday night for 'The Best Score Written for a Musical'.

She also sang 'True Colors' for the 2013 Tony Awards Memoriam segment.

I don't know about you, but I say the girl still has the chops.

-Kinky Boots was the big winner at the Tony Awards. The musical took home six trophies, including Best Musical, Best Leading Man and Best Original Score for Broadway newbie Cyndi Lauper.

-Stars Tom Hanks, David Hyde Pierce, Nathan Lane and Tom Sturridge all lost Best Actor to Tracy Letts in 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?'

-Courtney B. Vance won Best Featured Actor for starring opposite Hanks in Lucky Guy.

-Cicely Tyson won Best Leading Actress for The Trip to Bountiful.
