Unfortunately, crime doesn't rest during a global pandemic.

Dakota News Now reports a woman faces charges after police say she stabbed a man in a western Sioux Falls apartment around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say thirty-five-year-old Lauren Bordeaux-Berg of Sioux Falls was arrested after she was involved in an argument with a man and a woman.

Police say Bordeaux-Berg grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the man in the abdomen, then confronted the woman, but the wounded man broke up the fight.

Police arrived at the apartment on Ebenezer Avenue near 18th Street and arrested Bordeaux-Berg on aggravated assault and simple assault charges.

Police say the man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
