Epic Rock n’ Roll Week Coming to the New Roof Garden in Arnold’s Park

The historic Arnolds Park in Okoboji, Iowa has announced the lineup for its 2019 Grand Opening Series at the new Roof Garden.

To kick off the new Roof Garden, Arnolds Park Amusement Park will be hosting a Grand Opening Concert Series.

Tommy James & The Shondells - Friday, August 2nd

Billy & the Downliners - Wednesday, August 7th for the VIP Inaugural Concert

Glenn Miller Orchestra will play on Friday, August 9th

The Romantics - Wednesday, August 28th

Head East on Friday, August 30th

With Tommy James & the Shondells, Glenn Miller, The Romantics as well as Head East having all performed in the original Roof Garden in its prime, we hope that bringing them back for the Grand Opening Series will help capture some of the ballroom’s musical history. “We couldn’t be happier about the lineup for our Grand Opening Series. The construction to rebuild the iconic Roof Garden began in the fall of 2018. The Roof Garden was famous throughout the Midwest for hosting numerous marquee swing and rock n’ roll bands. The new Roof Garden will closely resemble the historic two-story ballroom that was demolished in 1987.

All the performances will be held at the Roof Garden in Arnolds Park. Tickets can be purchased for presale at www.arnoldspark.com.
