Experiment Time: See What This Extreme Cold Can Do

Todd Heitkamp, Warning Coordination Meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, made this video of some cold weather experiments. Among them he uses a wet t-shirt and peeled and unpeeled bananas to show what these below zero temps can do. It's cool to see this stuff. And imagine it that was your skin! No wonder mom got so wound up when I didn't wear my hat and gloves.
