Spring is in the air and summer is just around the corner. One of my favorite things to do when the weather gets nice is go to farmers' markets. The fruits and vegetables are juicier and tastier and the flowers seem to bloom brighter.

Several Farmers' Markets are now open in Sioux Falls.

Falls Park Farmers' Market - Located across the street from the Horse Barn at Falls Park. Open Saturdays through October from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. You'll find flowers, fresh vegetables, meat, baked goods, jewelry, herbs, cheese and more.  Enjoy a cup of Cherry Bean coffee while listening to live music. Skipping Stone Wood-Fired Pizza will be serving slices of pizza.

Eastbank Saturday Market - Located at 8th and Railroad Center. Open Saturdays through October from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. You'll find seasonal produce, herbs, cut flowers, plants, herbal teas, artwork, gluten-free baked goods and more.

The Prairie Farmers' Market - Located at Cherapa Place. Open Saturdays from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM through October. Find fresh produce, grass-fed meats, homemade canned goods, fresh baked breads and pastries, gourmet pastas, and more.

The Farmers' Market at Callaway's - Every Wednesday and Saturday through October from 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM in the Callaway's parking lot, 2 blocks east of 69th and Minnesota Ave. Vendors include Iott's Greenhouse, JR's Specialty Foods, Hanisch Farms, Wisconsin Pure Maple Syrup, and starting June 18, Knobloch's Produce.
