Frozen Burritos Sold In South Dakota Possibly Contain Listeria

Check the freezer at work and home for Green Chili Food Co. burritos for the code "EST. 21740." These could possibly have a listeria contamination and they are the subject of a recall.

The recall was made by the over the weekend. (May 13)

It's important to note that the company has received no notices of anyone falling ill due to the consumption of the product, but a routine sampling discovered the issue in the meat and potato varieties.

Over 250,000 lbs. of these frozen burritos were sold in South Dakota, California, Oregon, and Illinois.

Anyone who has purchased the item should return them to the place of purchase or simply throw them away.
