‘Gourmet Guys’ Mega Mac-N-Cheese Test Run

The 18th Annual Gourmet Guys for Active Generations Fundraiser is coming up on Sunday April 28, 2019 from 4:30 to 6:30 at Active Generations, 2300 West 46th Street, here in Sioux Falls.

Active Generations has invited dozens of talented community men to showcase their creative recipes. Please come and enjoy some incredible foods along with complimentary wines, beers, and musical entertainment.

My friend Alan Helgeson and I have the honor of being a pair of the 'Gourmet Guys' this year. We have struggled to come up with a fun and tasty menu options. Since we both use our smokers to excess we decided we'd go with a dish we call 'MIX MEGA SMOKED MAC & CHEESE'.

I put together a test run of our baked 5 cheese mac & cheese using Mozzarella, Parmesan, Feta, Gouda, & seriously sharp cheddar. For a test run, it wasn't bad. I still have some tweaking to do. But should be ready go by game day!
