Hanson has been working on something a bit different. It is called Hanson String Theory. They will travel around and play their songs with a symphony/orchestra! How cool?

I saw The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra play with Ben Folds and it was really cool.

Besides the Hanson String Theory Tour there will also be an album of the same name. Hanson worked with David Campbell to produce it. The album will feature a few new tracks and bunch of the songs we know and love with full symphonic arrangements. Maybe "MMMBop" will finally get the respect it deserves!

The album does not have a release date yet, but tour dates for String Theory have been announced. General ticket on sale is Friday, July 27th and tickets can be purchased here.
